SEIZE THE POWER A board game about discrimination and inequality. Players are aliens who have variable amounts of eyes, eye stalks and arms that could influence how you can play the game. Discriminatory rules can be enforced, but players can also join together to create a revolution and overtake the hegemonic power. Designed in collaboration with game designer Bez Shahriari. ONLY A GAME? A game where participants use their body movements to offset the gradual increase of global warming. The aim is to convey non-intuitive concepts underlying climate science and the urgency and reality of climate change, entangled in a story of a flower facing adverse weather. CHILDREN MAKING UTOPIAS Children used stickers representing people, things, animals, and plants to create their ideal world. Later we used the results to identify patterns, themes, concerns and interests to improve the participating school's education methods alongside researchers and educators.We lead focus groups in multiple schools working with hundreds of children. Funded by FONCA (The National Endowment for Culture and Arts of Mexico), in collaboration with the University of Guadalajara and Foundation Letras para Volar. Research study about building utopias.
